Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I had unprotected sexual intercourse and i took the 2 norlevo tablet at once after 12 hours and i have pains in my stomach is it the pill working or it was side effects and how effective is norlevo?

Norlevo i.e. is levonorgestrel is an emergency contraceptive pill and you took right dose in right combination and that too within 12 hours .
Now you are having pain in stomach ,but this is not a cause of concern , because this type of nausea , vomiting and abdominal discomfort are most common side effects of this drug .
If you are feeling uneasiness due to these symptoms take one or two ondansetrone mouth dissolving tablets .
You will get instant relief .
2nd point is , how effective norlevo ?
This is most potent emergency contraceptive and very effective and works.
