What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Oral Diuretic, Beta-blocker And Vasodilator?

A 5'6", 220# , 60 year old male airline pilot with bp of 190/115, low plasma rennin activity, elevated TPR, CO of 7.2 L/min., left ventricular hypertrophy, retinal hemorrhages and slight polyuria. What is the diagnosis? What should his ideal body weight be at 5'6" and medium frame; What are the sites of action for 1) oral diuretic, 2) Beta-blocker, and 3) vasodilator and what choice of drugs for this situation? Why was the vasodilator prescribed later and not with the other drugs at first? What was the cause of the retinal hemorrhages? What is cardiac hypertrophy and polyuria? What was the cause of these conditions and what could happen if the treatments don't work? Thank you for your help!
