Hi & Welcome.

Stilnoct (Zolpidem) is a sedative-hypnotic drug used to treat patients with insomnia and other problems with sleeping like maintaining sleep.

Its most common side effects include daytime drowsiness, headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, loss of coordination, stuffy nose, dry mouth, stomach upset, etc.

It may also affect the thinking and judgement and memory.

So, in view of the above you are advised to consult your treating doctor for an alternate effective but a safer medication for your problem.

Hope this will help in preparing for your GATE examination.
Wishing you all the best.
