Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Cannot say in your particular case. Suboxone will produce dependence and stopping it will produce withdrawal. Furthermore, because it stays in you longer the start and stop of the withdrawal is delayed in suboxone withdrawal compared to heroin (by about 2 days). If there is a slow taper, the withdrawal is less (peak is 3 days after lowering a dose), but the process is dragged out. Every other day heroin for a short period (1 week) is less prone to withdrawal than daily suboxone taken for weeks..

Psychiatrist Dr. Sathya Prakash's  Response
With tapering, withdrawal symptoms are markedly reduced. But you might still experience some mild body aches, running nose, occasional loose stool and some anxiety and sleep disturbance. But it will be mild and short lived. Congratulations on your decision to quit!
