What Bad Effects Can Holding In Urine Have?

I had operation 20 years ago and they removed my bladder,prostate and made bladder from intensite.So I can not keep my urine while sleeping.Penis clip is nat useful since it gives pain after some time..Is there any solution for this problem? I can not use bag and hose attached to penis because ıt slips away when the penis shrinks during sleeping and let loose..

Thanks for query .Based on the facts that you have posted you have undergone surgery of Cysto Prostatectomy with ileal conduit as a reservoir and maintaining a continuity of urethral passage by suturing conduit and urethra and now you are facing problem of leakage of urine during sleep .

The standard measures used routinely to control this leak like using penile clamps and condom drain have failed to prevent the leakage or very much cumbersome to use .

I would suggest you to follow following techniques
1) Avoid drinking water after evening
2) Empty bladder either with self catheterization or by applying pressure over lower abdomen (Neo bladder) before going to bed .
3) Use welpro band to encircle around shaft of the penis and tighten it loosely to block the urethra.

This works satisfactorily and helps to prevent urine leakage during sleep .
