What Can I Do About Continuous Itching At The Foreskin And Scrotum?
Hi doctor i am of 18 years i have continous itching in my fore skin glance penis and also on on scrotum .I thought there is infection so i washed my penis with turmeric but it also does not give any releif .could you please tell its cause and treatment
Take care of your hygiene. Take regular bath, clean your private area with water and antibacterial soap. Apply ointment hydrocortisone on the affected area, it will prevent itching. You can also take antihistamine at bedtime to control itching. Application of ice or cold compress on the affected area will give relieve. Do not touch or scratch.
Your symptoms are indicative of fungal infection or jock itch. Take a course of antifungal medicine. Apply clotrimazole ointment on the affected area for relief. Get STD tests done. If reports are positive, then you will be treated with antibiotics/ antivirals.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
