Hello,
Manage your hygiene better. Take bath regularly with antibacterial soap. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes. Avoid sharing your clothes, bedding or toiletries with anybody. Keep the house/room clean and the places where you spend most of your time. Get your clothes and bedcovers get washed in hot water or Savlon.
Take antihistamine at bedtime to get rid of itching and get a good sleep. Do not touch, scratch or pick. You can apply
hydrocortisone cream on the area affected for relief. Take
Acetaminophen or
Naproxen, one after lunch to help reduce soreness, pain, inflammation and discomfort. Get clinically examined by a GP, you may need to take a course of antibiotics like
Augmentin.
Control your blood glucose level for better healing. Avoid eating food that triggers your symptoms. Stay away from anything that triggers it like dust, pollution, smoke, paint, plants like poison ivy, animal dander, etc. It should get reduced. If not get clinically examined by a
dermatologist and get treated.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
