What Can I Do For Lightheaded And Dizzyness As With The History Of Anorexia?
Hi. Since I awoke this morning I have been very lightheaded ad dizzy and with all week feeling weak. I had to leave early in fear of passing out and every time I move or stand I feel I am going to black out. I have a history of anorexia nervous. Should I go to the ER or wait until Monday to call my doctors office.
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
I understand that you are worried about your recent symptoms of light-headedness and dizziness. Now, in persons with anorexia nervosa, there is a high prevalence of associated medical problems such as electrolyte imbalance, anemia, hypoglycemia, etc.
Sometimes, certain electrolyte imbalances like hypokalemia can be potentially dangerous. So, I would advise you to seek urgent medical attention and have yourself properly evaluate for your symptoms.
Wish you all the best.
