What Can I Do To Get Rid Of The Smoke Smell That Stays With Me For Long?

Hello, when I am exposed to strong smells like a bonfire, cigarette smoke or something burned in a microwave the smoke smell sticks with me for about 2 weeks. No one is my home smokes. Could it be that I am allergic to smoke? What can I take to help alleviate the symptoms? Thank you very much!

Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of an intolerance to smoke. For this reason, I would recommend avoiding staying in such places with smoke, and performing allergy tests. Aromatherapy and repeated baths can help improve this situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
