What Can I Take To Cure Diarrhea While Suffering From IBS?

Hello Doc, I suffer from IBS. I ate some stale pizza and starting having diarrhea. I take Loperamide 2mg. Meds not working. I went to ER but my labs were of and they sent me home. I have to wait until Wednesday to see my gastroenterologist. What can I take for the diarrhea in the mean time?

Hi,

You can take up to 8 pills of loperamide a day, so if you have only taken one or two, just try to increase the dosage.
