I have a lump on my left thigh close to hip and now there's bruising in the area and it's very painful. I don't know how I could have gotten the lump since I haven't fell or injured myself in that area. I'm not sure what this could be or can you give a suggestion on what steps I should take?
It is hard to tell not being able to see it. It may be a varicose vein as a part of veins insufficiency. If its painful, blood clot can be present inside. To diagnose it you should consult a surgeon and have a Dopplers ultrasound of your leg veins and ultrasound of this area.
Hope this will help. Regards.
