What Can Be Done For Boil On Cheekbone After Applying Antiseptic?
I have had a boil on my cheek bone for just over two weeks now. Initially it was really large and sore with pus. I soked it under a hot compress numerous times as well as dabbing antiseptic on. It's not as big as it was initially, but still very much thre and bright red in colour. Can you advise what I can do next? Many thanks
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. You may benefit from taking a course of antibiotics like cloxacillin or azithromycin. You could also apply topical 2% Mupirocin cream twice a day till the boil heals. Hope this helps you. Take care.
