What Can Be Done For Braxton Hicks Some Leakage In 8th Month Of Pregnancy?
I am a 30 year old 5'4 about 154lbs and pregnant with my second child in my eight month. Today I have had some leakage and quick braxton hicks. Now at two in the morning the leakage is a little heavier. I was wondering do I need to go to the ER or just wait till the morning to call my Doctor.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Leaking ( more obvious with coughing) & uterine contractions at 8th month of pregnancy needs Immediate attention - For loss of amniotic fluid may lead to an obstetric emergency. You should try to be in lying down position with head end raised.Visit ER & start with investigations ( as per advise of treating doctor) & treatment the earliest. Thanks.
