What Can Be Done To Get Rid Off Lip Discoloration?

Hi, I was wondering why the bottom of my lip is discolored(pink), i have dark lips! i don t smoke or drink, sometimes when i m around a group of people i tend to bite my lips or rub them together to hide the discoloration,embarrasing, I want to know what can i do to get my natural color back

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Seems to suggest that it could be Lip Vitiligo.

Though lip vitiligo is slow to respond and at times is even resistant to therapy, i usually ask my patients to apply either a topical steroid OR a topical immunomodulatory like tacrolimus OR both at seperate times of day, as a first line of treatment.

I would suggest you to visit a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis and discussion about various treatment modalities
