What Can Be Done To Treat Numbness After A Toe Surgery?
Hammer toe surgery right foot on10/25/13 for digits 2nd (implant / numbness), 3rd (did not fuse properly, now bent & crooked at knuckle toward 4th toe), and 4th toe (is fine). B3rd toe has been buddy taped with splint to 2nd toe for 10 weeks, yet 3rd toe remains bent to side & painful. What should be done?

As deformity is not getting corrected after splinting for 10 weeks you may need to re operate on toe to correct deformity.
Proper fixation and adequate post op immobilisation is important to maintain corrected deformity.
Till further correction use proper footwear.
