What Can Be Done To Treat The Painful Clogging In Ears That Causes Muffled Hearing?

I was sick during Christmas and am still having to blow my nose/sniff a lot. I blew my nose in bed a few days ago and my right ear popped pretty painfully. It s now clogged and the hearing on that side is muffled with lots of pressure. Occasionally it will pop on its own but still not clear up..and every now and then it becomes painful. What should I do?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having upper respiratory tract infection giving rise this problem.
Take some decongestant tablet with analgesic medicine.
Go for one antibiotic medicine like Azzithromicin for 3 days.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
