General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
This is Dr. Klarida Papaqako answering your question.
I read very careful your concern.

The most common cause of vomiting, associated with vomiting is a viral gastroenteritis, which in general will have 1-2 days of vomiting (3-8 times of vomiting), 1-3 days of fever, and may continue with diarrhea. It needs only symptomatic treatment and especially lots of fluids.

If the symptoms do not get better, or are different from what described above, not getting better but worse after 3-5 days, then other labs needs to be done to rule out the cause.

Hope this helps,
Take care.
