What Can Be The Side Effects Of MT Pills On Second Pregnancy?
My name is Payal Jain (Female; age 27 years,health and weight is normal)living at Udaipur,Rajasthan on 1/11/2008 I had to take MT pill as I was conceived due to failure of contraceptive.I took this tablet as early as possible. I knew about my pregnancy as my MC was not found on and after my scheduled date. After taking MT Pill normal bleeding was there. After that I never took this medicine and also I am having no physical and mental problem due to this MT pill. Now today on 22/5/2011 i.e. after 2 and half complete years after taking MT pill I want my second pregnancy as my first child is now 4 years old. Now my question is that : can my second pregnancy have any type of adverse effect of that MT pill taken on 1/11/2008. OR do I need some special precautions for my pregnancy OR do I need constant medical supervision as I had taken MT Pill once in my life before 2 and half years ago ??? For your kind information birth of my first kid was normal without any special medical supervision. Kindly reply me . Thanks.

Hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion intake of MTpill once will not have any effect on the future pregnancies.It does not cause any change that might prevent from conceiving again or any damage to the pregnancy.Repeated intake might cause heavy bleeding leading to anaemia.As you have taken only once you can be relaxed.Dont worry.Plan your pregnancy.
