What Can Cause A Bruise In The Pubic Area?

I have what looks like a bruise under my pubic hair with no pain, swelling or cause. I am not sexually active and except for the appearance, I would have never known I have this bruise? It started out very light in color about 2 weeks ago, and now it is a dark blue. It s in such an awkward place, there is no way I could ve been hurt or pinched there. There is, and never has been any pain. I have no other symptoms and I feel completely fine. What could this be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be ecchymoses... bleeding in dermis. There may be some cause like trauma, friction or vitamin C deficiency. Consult the dermatologist for perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend tab.vitamin C and vitamin K. Apply thrombophob oint on the patch twice a day. It may go away in about two weeks.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
