What Can Cause A Dull Pulsating Pain In Breast?

dull pulsating pain in right breast central to the nipple area and sensitive to touch. I am 38 and have three children but a long time ago so have not lactated in 10 years. I have recently gone off the pill for 1 year then back on 3 months ago. Pain is not aweful, just there - so I am constantly aware of it. If i press about 1cm under the centre of my nipple it feels very sensitive or bruised in feeling. Can you please assist and advise if I should be concerned or if it is just hormonal. THankyou.

Breast pain may be due to fibroadenosis or sometimes it may be due to mastitis or some mass lesion.

You should go for mammography once. It will give you exact idea. Then you should plan accordingly.
