What Can Cause A Flash Of Light In The Field Of Vision While I'm About To Sleep?
This seems to happen quite a bit. I lie down on the couch and as i am about to doze of I get a flash of light for just one second that rockets me to the vertical position because i just know that if i don t get vertical and let out a scream i will die immediately?

No dear, you won’t die that is for sure but a flash of light is always ominous. As it could indicate a retinal pathology, so I would advise you to get a fully dilated retinal check up done and then we can proceed.
