What Can Cause A Spreading Dark Patch On The Hand?
My girlfriend has a dark patch on her hand that has appeared overnight and it is spreading to under her nails. It looks a bit like bruising but it isn't at all sore to the touch. She washes her hands excessively due to a former OCD condition - could this be a factor?

This could be due to hypersensitivity reaction such condition is self limiting and no need to worry about this neither this needs any treatment, right now wait and watch would be best if this does not go away within week then "Hydroquinone cream" can be tried, hope this information helps you have nice day.
