General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
Please note that after surgery, there are unhealed areas in the operative field which give rise to pain in initial days. In your case of 6 days, postoperative period, pain is not an unusual thing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
