What Can Cause Burning Sensation On The Index Finger In The Mornings And Evenings?

I have a pinpoint sized burning in my index finger mornings and evenings. It’s located on my left finger just above the first joint closest to the nail. It’s not hot or cold, not red or discolored. Just randomly a painful throbbing sharp burning sensation.

Hi,

Throbbing pain in the tip of left index finger may be due to vasoconstriction most probably. If you have the habit of smoking or tobacco chewing leave it.

Dip the affected hand in warm water for five min followed by dipping in cold water and repeat it many times a day. If no improvement, consult the surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
