What can cause constipation, diarrhoea, grey stools, fatigue, back pain, tremors in hands from time to time with no anxiety (once I had it in one hand only), sweating and hot flushes, sometimes pain in the left side of my face, ear ache in left ear with no infection, random pains in the body? I ve had a pain on my left side just at the bottom of my ribs a few times and it can hurt while seated when this is happening, but when standing it is ok. Throbbing kidneys from time to time (this usually lasts for 5 to 10 minutes), head aches (I don t normally get head aches, until the last six months), vision playing up when I wake up, very dry mouth during the night and morning (this could be caused by meds), I can only do about 30 mins of house work and I get back pain and need to rest. Numbness around the back of the head sometimes when I ve been on the phone. I ve had a CT Scan on my TMJ and inner ear with normal results. I ve had an MRI on the white matter of my brain with normal results. This ruled out Trigeminal Neuralgia and MS. I ve had blood tests for Lupus and Sjogren s Syndrome and my antibodies were normal. I do have Comorbid Schizophrenia and OCD. I take 800mg of Seroquel a night, 200mg Zoloft at night, PRN 10mg Valium, 300mg Allipurinol for Gout. I have had Pancreatitis twice and been hospitalised both times, and they couldn t find the cause of the pancreatitis. I don t drink alcohol every day, more of a monthly or longer thing when I could have a couple of bottles of wine in one session at a party or something. I don t take recreational drugs. One time I had Pacreatitis I was Risperidone, the other time I was on Paliperidone. The doctor s did think these meds caused it, but I was suspicious, as both times I hadn t drunk for a long time and these two medications are very similar. They told me I should stop drinking alcohol, which I did after each bout for about nine months to give my pancreas a break. These episodes were also years apart, and the first time was the worst. I have read about Autoimmune Pancreatitis. Is it possible that I have Sjogren s and that it didn t show up in the blood test? or do you think this is the medications causing these symptoms or the drinking or everything above? I had to stop taking Lurasidone and Amisulpride in the last year and a half as I was getting EPS in the form of Oculogyric Crisis from these meds. I have been taking Antipsychotics since 2006 and have alway tolerated high doses well and in later years I have been on two Antipsychotics at once, until the beginning of last year when the Oculogyric Crisis started. My Psychiatrist didn t even know what it was, but I found it online after much searching, and there s not much information on it and all the dystonic symptoms I had fitted with it s description, (i.e. Eyes deviating upwards, mouth and lips pursing or chin moving down, my tongue would protrude and sometimes I had neck flexation and it would be hard to breath normally). My Psychiatrist initially told my I just had EPS, which is such a broad term of different things and I wasn t happy with that diagnosis. I certainly can t have this happening to me while I am driving or such. So I requested not to take the drugs that were causing it rather than take Benztropine to treat it, as each episode was getting worse and worse with more intense symptoms and more frequent. At the time I was using Valium to treat these episodes because I thought it was anxiety causing it as I didn t know what was happening to me, but I would be very scared and paranoid while I had these symptoms and it took me a while for me to talk about it with my doctor. My doctor didn t really seem to know what was happening except for EPS. Taking just Seroquel by itself has stopped these episodes. I would be really interested in what you think about this situation. Is theres something Neurological, an Autoimmune Disease or are these symptoms psychosomatic or side effects from medications. I am seeing a Neurologist in a couple of months time to discuss the results of my tests.
