Hello,
I have gone through your query and here are the answers: 1. At the outset, self-medication to induce a medical abortion is strictly contra-indicated. A clinical assessment by a specialist, a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac and note the age of the pregnancy are essential. 2. The dosage of the medication may have been inadequate to induce the abortion. In the current scenario, you should consult a specialist immediately to help plan further management along with a sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route. Hope this helps.
