Hello, I am 21 and I had sex on the 5th and my periods was suppose to start on the 11th however it did not start and I am 5 days late on my periods now. I also took 2 pregnancy test 1 on 13th and other one on 15th both of them were negative. I have also noticed that I have little to no white discharge.

Hello,

Slight menstrual disturbances and delayed period can happen normally and it does not indicate any disease condition. You can wait for few days for spontaneous bleed.

If periods delayed for a longer duration you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
