What Can Cause Difficulty In Articulating While On Lyrica?
I am 82 years old and have long-standing fibromylgia which has grown increasingly painful as I age. I am now on a very low dose of Lyrica. 25mg. I am a very articulate person and with Lyrica I find myself groping for words and having trouble articulating the word, as if my tongue is "tangled." I also am having gaps of "lost" time. I may be doing things around the house at ,say, 10AM and it feels like little time has passed and it's 1:PM and I really couldn't say where the time went or exactly what I have done during that lapse.
Fibromyalgia is the functional kind of disease and you really need to come out of this else there could be no limit of taking medicine for this.
It is not the pathological disease so need to worry about life, be positive, control your thoughts, try some exercise, stay away from stress.
No anxiety, depression, great care need to be taken in the diet it has to be balance and a healthy diet, try to cut down the medicine slowly and gradually and stop worrying.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
