For the past 2 1/2 months I have been unable to open my left eyelid in the morning without physically doing it myself. I do not have spasms or discharge from the eye. I have tried eye drops, but they do not seem to help. What could be causing this? Thank you.
Dropping of eyelid could be a sign of a third never paralysis and it can also occur with age related degeneration of the muscle. Anyways dear I would advise you to get an eye checkup so we can know the cause and then proceed accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Harshita
