Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. The symptoms appear to be more psychological than physical.
2. Medication interaction affecting cognition or stress related behavioral change needs evaluation.
3. At present Ryle tube feeding would be necessary. Later on, as nutrition improves, symptoms could improve. Oxygen saturation needs to be followed up closely. More clinical details and laboratory reports needed for further opinion.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
