What Can Cause Discomfort During Sleep?

I have a 4.5 month old and she sleeps the first 7 to 8 hours of the night quietly and then around 3am until about 7:30 she cries in her sleep. I generally feed and change her around 2am so I know it s not that......what else could be going on? This has been happening for about 2 months now. When will it end?

She is probably through with the sleep and wants to wake up and play with you. You should train her to sleep a little later than every previous day on each subsequent day so that she learns to sleep from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. every day.

I don't think there is any other reason. It is definitely not infant colic as she has passed the age for this problem.
