What Can Cause Dizziness While On Concerta And Propranolol?
My 18-year-old daughter has been taking Concerta (27mg) once a day for several years, and in the past year or so now up to 40 mg daily Propanalol. For the past four or five days, she has been experiencing what she describes as internal dizziness. In other words, the room isn t spinning and she doesn t feel like she is having any balance issues. This is not the first time she s experienced this kind of dizziness, and last December she was panicked witht he same thing and I felt it necessary to take her to the emergency room. That s when her neurologist increased the Propanalol. What could be the cause of her dizziness? She does have anxiety and we are about to head to her first year in college. Thank you, Harris
Cause of dizziness may be the disease itself for which she has been given, Concerta and Propanalol. Besides this, it can be due to vestibular dysfunction. If the dizziness persists then the possibility of cerebral disease need to be ruled out. Sinus disease may also cause the dizziness.
