Noted the history about your daughter checked for hearing at school and said to have no hearing, most probable from one ear. The most probable causes can be as follows: Any problem related to the inner ear structure like cochlea, the nerves going from ear to the brain that is vestibulocochlear nerve. CP angle tumors. Vascular malformation. Your daughter needs the following: Bera hearing test as as would be required. MRI and MRA of the brain and ears for knowing the exact cause. Any other tests as would be advised on detailed investigations and Audiometry by an ENT Surgeon. Further management will be as per the cause found.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
