What Can Cause Nausea And Numbness In The Arm Along With Fever?
my mother in law is in a nursing home. Last night she was saying that she wasn t feeling well. Sick to her stomach, numbness in left arm, . They took her temp and she had a fever. Her blood pressure was high, and she said that she hadn t peed in two day s. They tried to pick her up to put her in her recliner and she passed out. They took her to the emergency room and they have admitted her. At this time they don t know what is causing her syptoms. Any idea?
It is difficult to find the exact cause of your history.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Possible causes I mentioned here like a stroke with urine retention or septicemia (urinary focus) with hypotension with a syncopal attack or it may be due to a seizure disorder.
She may need a CT brain, urine examination, chest X-ray, ECHO, serum electrolytes and blood sugar etc.
Please consult the ER doctor immediately, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
