What Can Cause Pain And Swelling In The Fingers?

I have pain in my little finger and ring finger of my left hand. It doesn t feel like joint pain but more like they are really bruised, however, there is no skin or tissue discoloration. There is also some swelling. This has been going on for about 3 weeks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Most probably it is a minor contusion.

As a first line management, analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase can be taken for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. In that case, an MRI scan is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
