What Can Cause Pain From The Hip To The Thigh?

I am having pain from my right hip down into my whole thigh (not going to the knee). What could this possibly be. I am taking 300 mg of gabapentin 5 to 6 times a day for neuropathy from foot operation 5 years ago. Could this be from that or possibly from the very minute leg length discrepancy now from the surgery?

Hi,

As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated to rule out conditions like sciatica.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
