Hi,

I can understand your concern for your partner symptoms,
there are few reasons for painful coitus
1.     Dryness is the most common cause, - less foreplay, vaginal infection, less interval or large interval between sex.
2.     Injury - forceful sex
3.     Vaginismus
4.     Congenital abnormality
5.     History of surgery in the genital region
6.     Fibroids uterus
7.     Recent Child birth
8. Mensural pain.

Kindly see a gynecologist rule out a major issue. Simple issue related to foreplay and managing stress can be done by yourself.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
