What Can Cause Painful Spongy Swelling In Right Collarbone Pocket In Neck?
In the right collarbone pocket in my neck I have non painful spongy significant swelling. I also am on thyroid meds levothyroxine for years. I had rotator cuff repair 28 months ago. Noticed the difference in the mirror considerably bulges out. I also have lymphedema diagnosed within the last year. Should this be checked out and by what type of specialist?
Dear patient Spongy swelling in neck around collarbone may be due to 1. Lipoma 2. Lymph nodes 3. Lymphoedema. Since you are diagnosed with lymphoedema this might be possibility. I would advise ultrasound of local part to confirm diagnosis. You should visit general surgeon with report. All the best.
