What Can Cause Prolonged Menstruation While On Birth Control Pills?
Hello there, I started birth control 6 months ago after havin my son. My period gets longer each month. This period started August 25th, I m still on my period and I don t think it s going to stop any time soon. My dr keeps putting it off as the pill but it wasn t like this before. It s very light but extremely long. What else could it be??

Slight menstrual irregular including heavy bleeding can happen with birth control pills.
As the first line of management, you can take drugs like Tranexamic Acid to control bleeding.
Generally, it will settle by itself. If persists better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
