What Can Cause Recurring Thyroid Problems?

Hi,I have hashimotos thyroidistis disease, have had it for two-three years. Was on medication up till a year ago, when after a hospital visit was advised to stop due to normality brought back to my thyroid. My recent blood work has shown the thyroiditis is back severely and am taking medication. For a week or so I ve found the lower area of my neck has been swollen, small arrhythmias and a gassy nauseous feeling. I ve attended my doctor and had blood tests done. Just awaiting results. Is there any major concerns I should be worried about?

Let your blood reports come so that decision on whether to investigate further can be decided. You can undergo Nuclear Thyroid scan in a nearby Nuclear Imaging Centre to know the functional status of thyroid.
