What Can Cause Sharp Pain In The Stomach And Vomiting After Having Food?
My 21 year old daughter has been having horrible sharp pains in her stomach and it's worse when she eats. She is also throwing up alot.
Sent her to the Dr. and they said she has heart burn. She's been taking Nexium but the symptoms persist.

As per my surgical experience, the issue of sharp pain in stomach with vomiting after food indicates underlying intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus, gall bladder, bile drainage system issue or others.
In our clinic, after precise treatment with anti emetic, proton pump inhibitor and antacid; I recommend to undertake an ultrasound with upper GI endoscopy for further management guidelines.
