What Can Cause Shortness Of Breath And Swelling In The Neck After Recovering From Flu?

I had the flu for two weeks and it took two more weeks to gain any energy. For the last two weeks I have had a dry cough, some shortness of breath and the last week I noticed there is some swelling in the front lower area of my neck. I’m concerned about this

Hi,

You were having an influenza infection for two weeks. So bronchitis can be possible in your case which is lower respiratory tract infection. In such a case, the chest X-ray needs to be done. Dyspnea could be due to that.

I suggest you consult a pulmonologist for chest examination and management accordingly.
