What Can Cause Sore And Red Nose?

Hello, I woke up a week ago, and had a very red nose and it was very sore on the tip... It s been red and swollen for about a week now, and today I woke up and saw a little white spot and squeezed it a little and puss came out.. The puss is just under the skin, and i m not sure what is causing it... the pain generally goes away after I squeeze the puss out.. It s still swollen, and after about an hour I squeezed it again and a little more puss came out.. Do you know what this could be?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, by your history it looks like you are suffering from vestibulitis ( due to infected hair follicle ), it should not be squeezed, because veins draining this area can carry infection to central venous system, as of now stop touching that area, give hot compression and do consult an Ent specialist to confirm the diagnosis and to start you on antibiotics, take care.
