My grandfather just went through some sort of attack. Heavy breathing, swollen face, the left arm had constricted movement. He's complained of a tightness in his chest the last few days. the ambulance just took him to the hospital. Can you tell me what's going on?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
From the clinical symptoms shown by your grandfather, it strongly appears to be like an allergic reaction, however other cardiac and respiratory conditions need to be rule out with investigations.
A detailed history regarding onset and progression of symptoms will be needed, which need to be cross confirmed on auscultatory examination.
Therefore, with the investigations of ECG, Chest Xray, Complete Blood Haemogram, I would also strongly advice you to take him to nearby hospital, as it could be a life threatening condition.

Welcome for further suggestions
