What Can Cause Very Sharp Pain In The Stomach Along With Diarrhea?
I had very sharp pains in my right side 4days ago, and they subsided. Last night during early evening i started having a mild tummy ache. In the middle of the night i woke up with a very sore tummy and very bad diarrhea. This has been going on for the day. The tummy ache comes and goes. Could you give me an idea of what this may be?

Hi... Stomach ache with diarrhea will be most likely due to an infection.
So I would recommend you,
1. A course of antibiotics with ornidazole and oflaxacin
2. a course of PPI,s such as pantoprazole
3. Antispasmodic such as dicyclomine for relief of pain.
If you continue to have diarrhea and pain abdomen get stool examination and ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis.
