What Can Cause Vomiting Followed By A Seizure And Drowsiness?
16 yr old grandson felt sick, vomited and then experienced convulsion ?, seizure? Rushed to ER. Drowsy or sleeping for 15 hours. EEG is normal. MRI of head and neck normal. Labs were normal. Cannot stand unassisted. Cannot speak above a single whispered word.Is still in pediatric critical care after three (3) days!!

Please check for neck stiffness or a headache or vomiting. The possibility of meningitis or cerebral malaria or sepsis etc.
Get it done spinal fluid analysis then consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

A headache and vomiting followed by seizures may be due to meningitis or cerebral malaria or space occupying tumors intracranial or electrolyte imbalance etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Get it done MRI brain, CSF analysis and blood investigations for enteric fever or viral encephalitis may useful.
If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
