Just thinking itself won't confirm that it is diverticulitis, it may need to be confirmed by colonoscopy and barium enema. If you're having diverticulitis may present abdominal pain, vomiting, blood in stool, mucous in stools or diarrhea, etc. Stomach pain may be due to food intolerance or gastritis or colitis or irritable bowel syndrome or other pathology. Get stool sample examination is done and get treated accordingly. Avoid spicy food and alcohol and avoid smoking. Use probiotic medication. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
