What Can Explain Brown Discharge And Itchy Vagina Post Monthly Menstruation?
I am 17 years old and around 9/14 I got off my period but it was a weird period with no cramps and I got brown blood before, then my period, then brown blood after. Now it s 9/30 and I am getting brown blood again. My vagina has been itchy and I got a boil around my groin area last week. What could be wrong with me?
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Your abnormal menstrual pattern is likely to be caused by the infection in the vagina which you are experiencing. You need a proper clinical examination, swab test from the cervix and vagina, a pap smear, urinalysis and blood counts. Further management can be planned accordingly. You may use styptics to control the spotting. Please maintain proper genital hygiene. Your sexual partner also may need to get examined and treated if necessary. Hope this helps.
