What Can Happen If A Transverse And Sigmoid Sinus Dural Arteriovenous Fistula Is Left Untreated?
I have a dural arteriovenous fistula in the transverse sigmoid sinus beside the pulsing tinnitus what can happen if left untreated..I ask because I can t find a neuroradiologist that takes my health insurance I m 68 and the pulsating tinnitus started maybe 5 months ago most of the time I don t even hear it

If these fistula left untreated may lead to thrombus formation and bleed into the sinuses.
So it is better to undergo embolization of the fistula. please consult your doctor he will examine and explain the complications if left untreated.
