What Can I Do To Remove The Coating Caused After Chewing Antacid Tablets?
I took 3 chewable antacid tablets and immediately, after, I had a coating on my tongue. I brushed my teeth and my tongue and the coating came off, except for the far back of my tongue. I struggle to reach back there due to my gagging reflex. How long will the coating in the back of my tongue last? Is there anything else I can do to remove to coating?
WELCOME TO HCM. ITS COMMON WITH ANTACID TABLETS TO GET COATING OF TONGUE. U DON'T NEED TOBE WORRIED ABOUT IT. IT IS TOTALLY HARMLESS. DON'T TRY TO REMOVE IT WITH BRUSH IN POSTERIOR PART, ELSE U MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO UR TONGUE GIVING RISE TO BLEEDING. U CAN TRY WARM SALINE GARGLES, IT WILL GO WITH THAT. OTHERWISE IT WILL SUBSIDE WITH UR NEXT MEALS.
